PHA, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit youth development organization was founded in 2005 by Judyth Nsababera, a Rwandese-Ugandan, who has dedicated her life to transforming the futures of African youth. Judyth was raised in Rwanda and later in Uganda where she saw first hand the emotional scars left on her community due to the disease and stigma of HIV/AIDS.

While Judyth was assisting in a clinic in Africa the pervasive force for the disease influenced her deeply. It was then that she realized all children are affected by the epidemic, rather they are infected or not HIV can impact a child's life forever. In 2003 Judyth became increasingly involved in the health and welfare of young people in Africa and has made it her mission to, "to enrich the lives and enhance the physical, emotional, social and intellectual well-being of youth in Africa." Project Hope for Africa was born!

PHA has assembled a skilled business task team from the profit and non-profit sector to help the organization develop strong program initiatives, partnerships and funding mechanisms that will allow us to expand and deepen our impact in Africa.
