There are many different people, groups and tribes across the continent of Africa - with cultures varying from the tribe to tribe. The preservation of cultural and natural heritage throughout Africa is imperative in the promotion of a culture of peace. PHA youth cultural groups foster a deeper understanding of the roots and histories of African culture while establishing strong ties with other youth from the surrounding African communities.
Project Hope for Africa's programs give young people the change to test ideas and behaviors while experimenting with different roles through art, music, dance and drama. Our Music and Dance groups are performing throughout Africa, toughing lives and introducing others to a world outside their own.
While sharing of one cultural roots is fun and essential to youth development we also seek to broaden the mind and stimulate the south of our kids. At PHA our guiding principles and beliefs represent our core commitment to promoting understanding and friendships between youth of different backgrounds while reversing discrimination and bridging the divides between cultures.
