There is a severe shortage in Africa for providing youth with Community Centers or after school program. These Centers could be the most important asset a community has a providing a gathering place for local children as well as a hub for the communities' children's programs. Without safe havens youth are forced to seek entertainment elsewhere and are often involved in activities such as drinking/ doing drugs, violence or engaging in risky sexual behaviors because of a lack of opportunity or hope. Project Hope for Africa's youth centers aim to bring young people together to dialogue and to help build better lives for themselves and for one another while providing an arena of fun.

It is our belief that youth in Africa have unlimited potential in terms of talents, skills and capability. The core program focus of our youth center is empowerment through leadership and life skills building programs that will catalyze youth development in Africa.
